Alice Neel Exhibition Continues Through August 1 at The Met
For the first time in twenty years, the works of Alice Neel (1900-1984) are being exhibited by a major museum. Neel, a longtime resident of New York City, was inspired by social justice and humanist principles. She is considered one of the most radical painters of the 20th century.
